About the Juggernaut Tactical JT-9
Juggernaut Tactical is a California-based firearms manufacturer known for building AR-platform rifles and pistol-caliber carbines. The JT-9 is a semi-automatic, blowback-operated pistol-caliber firearm chambered in 9mm, designed around an AR-style lower receiver format and intended for range use, home defense, and recreational shooting.
How the California versions differ
- All twelve listed versions share the same caliber (9mm) and barrel length (8.5"), so they are mechanically identical in those respects.
- The suffix codes indicate different finish and color options: standard (no suffix), Black (BB), Flat Dark Earth (FDE), Olive Drab (OD), Tungsten/Gray (GRC), Sage Green (SG), and Desert variants (DFDE, DRD).
- Suffixes beginning with "D" (DAF, DBB, DFDE, DRD, DTAF) appear to denote two-tone or dual-color finish combinations rather than a single overall color.
- The "C" suffix on SSP-FDEC and SSP-GRC likely indicates a cerakote or coated finish variant of those colors.
- No differences in sights, optics cuts, or grip configurations are indicated by the roster listings alone.
Who it suits
The JT-9 SSP family is well suited to shooters who want an AR-format 9mm pistol for range training or home defense, and who prefer to choose a specific color or finish to match their setup.
