About the North American Arms Mini-Revolver .22 Magnum
North American Arms, based in Provo, Utah, manufactures the Mini-Revolver series as some of the smallest production revolvers available. These single-action, five-shot pocket revolvers are chambered for rimfire cartridges and are designed primarily for deep concealment and as a last-resort backup firearm.
How the California versions differ
- All three versions share the same caliber (.22 WMR / .22 Magnum) and the same 1.125-inch barrel length.
- The standard NAA-22MS is the base configuration at an MSRP of $249.
- The NAA-22MS-HG is priced lower at $229 and is believed to feature a holster grip, which folds to form a belt-clip holster for carry and unfolds into a full grip for shooting.
- The NAA-22MS-ROSE is a decorative variant featuring rose-themed engraving or grips; no MSRP is listed in the roster entry.
- Beyond these distinctions, all three are functionally identical single-action mini-revolvers of the same size and capacity.
Who it suits
The Mini-Revolver in .22 Magnum is best suited for experienced shooters seeking an ultra-compact backup or deep-concealment option, and its small size also appeals to collectors interested in novelty or decorative variants like the Rose edition.
