About the Canik METE MC9LS
Canik is a Turkish firearms manufacturer known for producing feature-rich pistols at competitive price points. The METE MC9LS is a compact, subcompact 9mm semi-automatic pistol built on the METE platform, designed for concealed carry and personal defense use.
How the California versions differ
- All three versions share the same caliber (9mm) and barrel length (3.6"), so they are mechanically identical.
- The BLACK (HG7885CA-N) features an all-black slide and frame finish.
- The SLIDE BLACK FRAME FDE (HG7885CABD-N) combines a black slide with a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) colored frame.
- The FDE (HG7885CAD-N) features an all-FDE finish on both the slide and frame.
- All three are listed at the same MSRP of $399, making finish and color preference the primary deciding factor between them.
Who it suits
The METE MC9LS is best suited for concealed carry permit holders and home defense users looking for a compact 9mm pistol with an approachable price point. Its subcompact size makes it a practical option for everyday carry where discretion and comfort are priorities.
